Carmela Abella, owner of Abella Home Staging & Redesign, is a member of the  Real Estate Staging Association PRO (RESA).

She has been recently granted status as Women Owned Business Enterprise as well a member of the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition. And a certified HSR professional home Stager with extensive training in the techniques and methods of staging a home. As well as a certified “Color with no Regret” Specialist.

With a genuine passion for design and color, Carmela  brings an artist eye to her  design and subtle use of color. Carmela Abella of Abella Home Staging & Redesign located in Centereach, NY recently completed color certification training, “Color with No Regrets” a patented selection process.  Completion of this intensive class earned Carmela Abella the distinction of becoming a CCNRC. (Certified Color with No Regrets Consultant)  This designation is held by less than 1000 people in the world. “Most people begin the color selection process by asking the question, what is your favorite color?  We have found this question does not truly communicate the client’s preferences.  For example, if a client states blue, each of us would visualize a different blue. The color test helps the color consultant hone into the perfect blue.  The end result is the CNR (Color with No Regrets)Perfect Palette.  This is color selection all about the client and not the decorator.”

Her previous career as a Realtorhas shown her a tremendous need for home staging. As a Realtor, there were many times when she walked into a seller’s home and realized how much better it would have shown if it had been staged.
