Envision Color 2010: BM new color trend is here! These colors are rich and vibrant and are based from mother nature herself. Going Green has made such a tremendous impact into our lives, it has even crossed into our design and color is no exception. Benjamin Moore has predicated that Cedar Green 2034-40 “may be the one we turn to”. But that is just one of the new eighteen colors that BM predicts will be the latest trend in color.

Simple Indulgence a vibrant color palette that adds luxury to any room. Colors such as Violetta AF-615, Caponata AF-650, Blueberry 2063-30, Fool’s gold PT-250, Calm OC-22 and Slip AF-605.

Fresh Perspective which has the influence of nature, colors such as August morning 2156-40, Sundance 2022-50, Fairview HC-85, and Carob AF-160.

Alternative View bold colors to add a pop of color such as Midnight Navy 2067-10, Claret Rose 2008-20 and when paired with Meditation AF-395, Opaline OC-33, can have a calming and soothing affect.

There are also changes in finishes as well. Traditionally, flat was commonly used on wall. It hides the most imperfection but it does not wash or wear well. With the introduction of eggshell most people turn to that finish because it offered the most durability but it showed all the imperfection on the wall. Now with the introduction of mat finish it offers the best of both worlds, hides imperfection like flat paint with the durability of eggshell.
